Tis I, El Hefe! Well punk fans, things are going great here at Motor Studios. Ryan Greene is a funny dude that makes a lot of bad sex jokes, but we are used to him by now.

Wait until you hear this this "thing" I did on the EP, it's my best work yet, but I'm not allowed to discuss it any further.

This is me here with my 3 SGs, I like to keep extras on hand in case the power goes out or something.

Hey kids, Smelly here. Things are going fine with the new record, it's just that it gets real boring. Especially for a drummer. And when I get bored, I like to BA Fat Mike while he sleeps. Yup, that's my ass in Mike's face.

These other pics are from when we tracked some drums. You can't see the drums because that's Ryan's secret drum set-up for capturing the best sounds. Very secret, tell no one.

Here's a pic-by-pic description what's going on...This is what happens when I go see the Swingin' Utters play last night. This is where I sleep off my hangover and this is when Melvin sings
something without telling me.

This is my danelectro bass. It cost 250 dollars. It doesn't have a proper bridge so it is impossible to intonate. I don't care because it sounds pretty good and it only weighs 7 pounds. That is important cuz I have a bad back from being so damn old.

These are the guitar amps we use. The top hat amp is my favorite. Eric likes to lean on top of the amps because it keeps him warm. I just like to stand and stick my belly out. Seeya, Fatty.

Gabba gabba hey punk fans, El Hefe here to tell you about our new album. It's got 14 new rockin songs. I feel that Fat Mike has really outdone himself this time. The song writing is awesome, and I had a hell of a time playing the lead solo on the really fast song. Fatty kept riding my ass ‘til I got it right.

There is this song where Melvin, Mike, and I take turns singing the hook in rounds. I think the "the war on errorisim" is our best work yet…there you have it.

Day 1: I'm driving up from LA to start the first day of studio time. We start at noon and I should be there around 7:00pm. Set cruise control for 85. Point car north. Sit back and relax. I've been slowly building up my arsenal of gear over the last three years and it's all in the car. Ready, go.

Amps: a Soldano Hot Rod 50, two Marshalls heads, one from the mid early 70's and one from the late early 70's, and a Fender Bassman 100 with a master volume and power tubes that look like they should have been replaced two and a half decades ago.

Guitars: I've got my ESP Les Pauls, a late mid 60's Gibson Les Paul, and I'm kinda stoked to show up with my a new secret weapon, a 1965 Fender Jazzmaster.

The Plan: Overwhelm Mike and Ryan with the sheer volume of new stuff to try out.
